SASSA Will Take Expert Services to Fernie Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie two Local community Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies to your community.

SASSA will be rendering companies for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency explained it's alarmed concerning the superior variety of people depending on social grants for survival.
“The goal of your Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out into a high variety of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be due to the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no thoroughly functional office dedicated to service the area on a regular basis. The service level established for intervention experiences a substantial influx of possible beneficiaries, which makes it complicated for your Workplace to attend to all people who check out a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more assets to permit the servicing of all customers and increase use of Social Assistance services,” the agency said.

For more information, community members can call toll free during SRD working days/hours on 0800 60 10 11 and WhatsApp on 082 046 8553. - SAnews.gov.za
